Condition Presented:
The patient was presented with chronic, ulcerative lesions due to selfmutilation. His owner has kept it covered and clean for 2 weeks prior to presentation.
Duration Of Photizo Treatment:
Phototherapy was done once a day for 4 days on “wound 21+ days” protocol, then repeated 4 days later for 4 more days.
Treatment Performed:
Treatment and case study was done by Vetlight in Pretoria.
Condition After Photizo:
Phototherapy aided in healing the old chronic lesions by having a marked pain relieving effect. Thus the chronic self-mutilator was less inclined to inflict self trauma.
